both versions have their strengths and weaknesses. the mobile version is perfectly fine. I personally prefer it over DS but I'm aware I'm in the minority.

Mobile has better extended soundtrack, better visuals, balance changes, etc. Combat changes aren't as bad as people make out, but it is a lesser experience if you really dig the idea of the partner dynamic.

I played emulated for the first time and it was fine. I had a controller hooked up to my tablet in one hand, and my other hand controlled the screen. It was a jank ass setup, but it worked fine and I had no problems. Still better than the mobile version. Use drastic for android emulation, it's flawless, or it at least was on my 2012 nexus tablet

Because we don't have any games about adolescents with relatable problems growing up. Neku's general asocial personality was quite relatable among 4chan and it was incredible to see him move past that. We have and will always have a new generation of gamers that would benefit from these types of coming of age stories, whether it deals love in a friendship or familiar sense, or finding your passion in life, committing to your word. TWEWY has the unique setting, gameplay, and premise where a new game with a new story and cast can be adapted to all major cities across the world for each generation.

In an industry where mature titles are hailed even though it only consists of tons of violence and gunning down people, TWEWY has the potential of becoming a "mature" series that would breathe a fresh breath of air and be a positive influence on the industry.

TWEWY was the only game I bothered to 100% ever. I had a lot of fun doing all that shit.
And then my mom tossed out my unhinged/"broken" NDS with the game still inside it.

Twewy is such a fantastic game. It has so many disparate and weird systems in it, but they all come together and work symbiotically to help elevate the themes of the game. It's not a go to for most people, but I consider the game to be a pinnacle of "art" in the medium

Long story short is that the main Kingdom Hearts team got tangled up in developing Final Fantasy Versus XIII after KH2. If you know anything about the story of that game, then I hardly need explain anything more. The Kingdom Hearts series had a bunch of entries in it that weren't called KH3 in the meantime. KH3 itself was properly announced a couple years back, but the dev team only really got development in full swing after FF15 was finished.
