Miu wasn't just going to kill someone. She planned to kill someone and get away with it. And Gonta did follow Ouma to the light. Not to mention Ouma's got trust issues so he can't just tell anybody about it or he thinks the mastermind would kill him. His actions are pretty understandable and justified to me. Excusable? Yeah, it was essentially giving up his own life and risking everyone else's or giving up two people the moment they went through the program, and Gonta clearly had a choice in the matter. Gonta has major fault in the situation. That won't stop fans misinterpreting and calling Gonta(and maybe Miu) an innocent victim even after English release though.
Especially with Gonta talking like a child.

There were actually people who kept thinking it was part of a grand plan between the three of them.
And everyone forgets that Miu while a great inventor, isn't really logical in her planning...or anything else for that matter. Saihara or Maki would suspect foul play even if Ouma was the dead one.

Yeah, I heard about that. I mean, I suspected how it took place beforehand until I understood it but I never assumed there would be a grand plan behind it. And yeah, Iruma would be screwed the moment they checked the Monokuma file to see poison wasn't the cause of death.

I'd say it's bit of both, I'd say. If he just avoided her. She could kill him at random or even kill someone else, so he couldn't just let her go. He could tell someone about it like Saihara but again, couldn't trust him just yet, which also explains why he's trying to ally him ever since they enter the VR. So clearly, gotta get rid of her yourself.

Definitely. I preferred the characters that did bad things understandably like Ouma, Maki and Iruma than characters who are portrayed as the dream girl dindu regardless of actual actions(Kaede) or downright sociopaths like those two.

As usual, Chapter 4 is pretty great on the theme of sacrifice.
Too bad Chapter 2 was a waste and Chapter 3 decide to do the gimmick of 3 deaths again.
And I really don't know about Angie enough to make my final judgement but apparently she's pretty bad.

Chapter 2 disappointed me since I was interested in Kirumi and Hoshi pre-release, Kirumi being my favorite, and they got shafted badly, Kirumi especially. They don't even feel like members of the group but more so side characters. At least I have their FTEs and the prime minister twist is pretty funny. Chapter 3 did try to subvert itself but double victim is still double victim. At least it gave Tenko and Yumeno a lot of development. Angie's a mixed bag. She's a manipulative and selfish asshole who brainwashes people but she is just using it as a survival strategy. The most controversial thing about her is that she thinks people who die due to their own faults don't deserve to come back, so she refused to revive Ryoma, Kirumi or Kaede.
