1. The 3DS ports don't count. They're eyerape. And lose multiple features in all cases. They are objectively inferior versions.
2. The Switch ports are after the WiiU was dead. Dead consoles getting it's games ported doesn't posthumously affect the library you big fucking idiots. The PS3 isn't any worse off for the PS4 ports existing. Dreamcast doesn't have a weaker library because of JSR HD.
These are both wholly retarded notions.

I always felt there were too many just ok games.Like, if I was magically gifted new super mario bros or captain toad or woolly world I would play them, but they don't seem like they would be worth paying full price for.

Although I played Mario Kart on Wii U, I got mario kart bundled with my switch since I really couldn't find a one anywhere else without it.
Its okay by me because I can bring it to family gatherings and my younger cousins love me because they love mario kart.
Other then that I'm not aware of any other instance that affects me. The only other game that was rereleased like you're suggesting that I can even think of is Pokken but I care about it.

Even if I had a Switch I'd just play it locally on WiiU with my friends still. Deluxe has more items and less stable online, I never liked battle mode, and characters aren't worth sacrificing the gameplay I prefer. I'd never pay 60 dollars for this.

But honestly there's a reason Pokken online lasted a month and Smash 4, Splatoon, and Mario Kart 8 WiiU persisted the whole lifespan of the console. It needed a sequel not a 1.5
