The sharpness was an absolute requirement, the game was fuzzy even by PS2 standards. Hell, FFX was sharper, but I guess they tried to hide the jaggies.

Whatever the case, the game isn't 60 FPS, so as far as remakes are concerned, it's very much not worth getting over 10 dollars.

The remaster is blurry for a 1080p title. If you compare PCSX2 with the remaster, the remaster is softer.
