I'd highly recommend 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10.

You'd be safest playing 10.

And I don't even like 10 that much. My personal ranking is 7>8>6>12>9>5>4.

FFXV is a mixed bag. It has really a lot of potential but unfortunately it was developed by Tabata. That fuck manages to ruin the execution of every game he ever touched. Just like Type-0, good plot, lots of potential ruined by it's execution.

There's an inherent awkwardness to all games Tabata touched on.

5, 6 and 7 are good. Never really played 1-3. People act like 4 is a must play but it's not. 8 is fucking horrible. 9 seems promising but becomes a chore and pretty boring. 10 is fucking gay. 12 is almost as fucking gay as 10. 13 is the worst one. Never played 15 but I'm gonna take a safe bet and say it's fucking gay.

6, 7 and 9 are the best. 10, 5 and 4 follow them.

7 is my favorite. 9 is my second favorite. i'd recommend starting with either of those first. if you don't like 7 or 9 you wont like any other games in the series. so play those to start with then worry about what to play next after.

tactics is a completely different game. it's a turn based strategy game and shouldn't really be considered along with the others. it's still fun and worth playing, but it's a completely different game.

I'm actually playing through FF7 the last few weeks. Down in the northern crater and almost finished

Almost considering starting again and doing a perfect run right after. Or maybe just back track a bit and finish whatever else I can still finish at this stage.

Each game has its own narrative so there's no problem with playing 7 first.

I'd play 10-2 first. best game in the series. also get to see girls changing costumes very often. I couldnt understand the story though, maybe it was over my head i just didn't understand what was going on
