God knows if it's gonna be good or not. It went through really troubled development, and Dan Vávra, as passionate as he is, isn't the most organized or reliable person in the world. I could be fantastic, but it also could be an absolute mess: in fact it's is almost guaranteed to be mess on release. We'll just have to see if the potential outweights the unavoidable issues.

There is also another country, called Slovakia.

The two were once united as one country, called Czechoslovakia, but they started falling apart basically as soon as the socialist regime that was more-or-less forcing them to be united collapsed: "Czechoslovakia" definitely and officially stopped existing in 1993.

Not really, no. Warhorse is actually mainly composed of veteran members of Illusion Softworks (the people who made Mafia, Vietcong and Hidden and Dangerous) and Altar Interactive, the folks responsible for a little known but amazing strategy called "Original War" (an RTS that actually had better RPG elements and choices-and-consequences than most Bioware games have).
Rest of the team is young people: they did a massive talent sweeping across young kids of software engineering-oriented Uni's, so I suspect a lot of the lower-tier workers there are fairly inexperienced. The overlap with Bohemia is - as far as I know - virtually none.

Oh, right. I forgot about Bocan. Though he technically worked for 2K, which published both Illusion and Bohemia Softwork games back in the day, you are right that he was a lead designer on Flashpoint. He also worked there temporarily as a 2K-assigned publisher on the first Arma.
Klíma is actually the former head of aformentioned Altar and lead manager on Original War, and his actual employment in BI was so short and inconsequential that you won't even find it mentioned on his personal profile. He did bring most of his Altar folks along with him too.

I'm still mildly curious about the project. OpFor was basically the only game I ever played up until I could afford to buy my own games. Despite how Arma3 has improved on the series so much it just doesn't have the magic of the original.

Yeah, Flashpoint has a very big place in the heart of a lot of PC gamers of that era, Czechs in particular. I grew up with it too... I remember being totally shit at it, but spending MONTHS fucking around in editor.

I think that Kingdom Come is much more of a Vávra/Klíma project though, Bocan has not really being doing design for well over decade - he has been a publisher and manager for most of the time since OpF. And a lot of things has changed.
