I really enjoy mine but definitely find the overall library to be a little lacking. A few of the mainline entries were a little uninspired, as well.

The hacking definitely adds a huge layer of usability, however.

I'm just waiting for the Switch to get hacked so I can emulate everything on the go. I miss my PSP.

It had good first parties, but like what pretty much everyone says it suffers from it's lack of 3rd parties.
Not to mention how confused everyone was when it was released, as when you hear "Wii U", and all you see is them playing with a gamepad you think it's some type of unnecessary peripheral for the Wii.

But, yeah in a way it's underrated, I can see people revering it as Nintendo's Dreamcast aside from the point that Nintendo still makes consoles .

Time will be kind to Wii U. It's a unique console with some suberb games. Shame it flopped because the gamepad was actually great when implemented correctly.
