Okay so since the two new Metroid game announcements, and being a huge Metroid fan, I started doing a little Metroid Marathon playing through all the Metroid games I own on all the difficulties and such.
I was playing on the Trilogy version of Metroid Prime 3, and this is probably my most familiar Metroid game other than Zero Mission, but something happened that's never happened before.
The GFS Valhalla scared the balls out of me when I was younger but this scared adult me. I was in the Auxiliary Shaft, the room where you need an Energy Cell to power an elevator, and on my way down after getting the pirate code I suddenly started taking damage in a room with no enemies. I freaked out and looked around, maybe a Metroid somehow left its native room and followed me, but no. Not only was there nothing to be found, but the AI of what was attacking me wasn't like my other either.. an enemy did appear on my radar, and kind of drifted around aimlessly and sometimes ramming into me. It followed me down the elevator, but didn't leave that room. Now I'm terrified to use that elevator again.
I didn't think to check the X-Ray Visor unfortunately, I was only focused on getting the heck out of there.
TL;DR, weird creepy glitch(?) happened while playing Prime 3, almost like a ghost
Has anything like this ever happened to anyone else?

And then a federation trooper appeared which was weird because he had super realistic eyes and they were bleeding.
