Do people even buy rpg maker games?

Only if they're actual games like LISA.
Nothing has really beaten OFF for me tho so idk if they're worth it.

No, most GOOD rpg maker games are ported out into a custom engine. Because you need coding skills to make anything worth a damn unless its a shitpost game.

RPG maker is also very limited, trust me I am working with it as a base and a way to scale the art but mostly just to organize stuff at this point as I am picking up coding and it would be much easier to use my own engine.
