GTAV is fun but the fucking shooting and flash on the screen when an npc dies was a stupid decision. You could also kill someone by themselves on top of a mountain silently and the police would magically be on you in seconds.

If you take in account the years they were made, RDR is by far superior.

For me it is just because it is a western game that I love it so much. Yes it is a R* game and you are free to dislike their formula, but for the general population of gamers, that formula creates a fun game.

As for the guns, I don't recall any being unlocked by fame or honor. I thought they were all either purchased at gun shops or found in missions. Plus all the guns were pretty much equal in ability.
