Best Racing Game?

Burnout 3 was my favorite arcade style racing game ever.

Everything just clicked. The insane sense of speed, the fact that the game rewards you for risky actions such a weaving in and out of traffic, those great slow motion crashes.

All Burnout tropes that had been established to be sure, but BO3 perfected it.

Such a shame EA acquired the devs. Revenge was good, but I knew EA would just scrap Burnout eventually for yet more NFS content

Man, both GRID and Burnout 3 are amazingly fun games.

Flatout 2 is also great.

Dirt 4 is honestly an amazing racing game. It obviously doesn't have track racing but in terms of providing the best experience for different types of players it's hard to beat. It seems so obvious, but I wish more games had the option of sim racing vs arcade racing control setups so you can enjoy it whether or not you have a racing wheel
