just give me more furbait pokemons, people don't even care about the new games anymore, S&M are trash. The most exciting thing when a new game is released is the porn that is made.

When expanding on the current formula is not cost effective or complicates the game in an unenjoyable way.

For example, NSMB Wii was an expansion of NSMB1. It added many new platforming elements that were well utilized, and expanded the scope of the game with more levels and multiplayer. NSMB2's new gimmick barely changed anything.
