What's the story with Kiwami?
My little brother wants to buy 0, but I told him he should play 1 at least before he spends $60. Is this the remake of 1? While the game hasn't really changed since the first one, the remake is probably going to have a lot more goofy shit in it that's going to hold his attention. The first game was pretty serious throughout and most of the sidequests were finding people's pens or notebooks.

Just started playing 1 after beating 0 a few months ago.

I dunno how they did it, but despite the combat being shit and most of the game being as outdated as it is, it still feels like a proper sequel. Or I should say 0 is a very good prequel.

Every game basically improves on the other, so if you play 0 first (by far the game with the most stuff to do), the older games will feel very imcompete and clunky.
I would still recommend skipping 1 and going straight to 2 (you get a nice summary of the story when you start).
