I like Makoto but she's likely the worst party member until she gets her ultimate weapons + Crystal Skull and even then Ann or Ryuji are better as damage dealers. Even Haru is better thanks to having Cripple / Sniper.

She has Mediarahan and Marakukaja, but Morgana is still a better healer. The only thing Makoto is really good at is clearing palaces, since she's so flexible.

Flash Bomb as her best physical attack?, what were they thinking.

Makoto is a better healer than Morgana since she has the best stats out of everyone in the party, Morgana is way too fragile and her extra healing moves generally aren't even worth the slot. Makoto has a severe attack and nuclear is way better than wind. Yusuke is not the best anyway, he doesn't get charge and gets outclassed by Ryuji, the only thing he is good at is clearing palaces.

Morgana and Haru can do everything she does about a hundread times better.

Makoto with her ultimate weapon has better stats than both in literally everything, Morgana has the least hp out of everyone and her skills aren't worth it, Haru doesn't get as much dps as either Ann or Ryuji and the team needs a healer (which Makoto is statistically the best) meaning that Morgana and Haru should be benched with Yusuke.

Right, but whereas Makoto is just good for Palaces, Yusuke rapes them with his murdercock. Same goes for every boss you put in front of him except for Shido.

I'll admit Yusuke gets outclassed at the end but he'll be your strongest damage dealer for 95% of the game due to three simple facts:

>Senryou Yakusha
You can get this Sword by the 4th palace when you unlock Itemization. Gets Yusuke +5 str, combine with Atlas Anklet (which you can also get at that point in Mementos) for a ridiculous +15 bonus, the highest you can stack at that point and you can only do it with Yusuke.

>Rising Slash / Deadly Fury
These are very strong attacks by the point Yusuke learns them, Deadly Fury in particular will be one if not your strongest physical skill until Ryuji and Haru unlock Megaton Raid and One-Shot Kill much, much later.

Yusuke's damage output might not have the highest ceiling, but he reaches it much sooner than any other character. Ryuji becomes better in the end when you get Charge and the Auto-Tarukaja weapon, but by then you should have beat Shido so who cares?

I'll admit it though, Mona is way too frail for a healer and doesn't hit as hard, but Makoto's progression means she's a shoddy healer until she gets Mediarahan. Takenedical Z is usually better than Mediarama after all.
