Fill me in on why this PS2 graphics piece of shit has so many fans?

Literally just because they can play dress up with their waifu characters. The game lacks any depth and is very button mashy.

It doesn't hold up on PC but for a PSP title it was pretty cool. Took a popular formula and experimented more with it. At the time it was notable. The fandom is baffling though because in retrospect its pretty dull and boring.

Personally I liked this and Toukiden 2 more than and MH game Ive played. I liked GE's overall speed and flow of gameplay and in both cases I preferred the weapon selection and general aesthetic more than in MH.
