Was alright few months ago, then for no reason brought back the ridicolous bullet sponges and all other bullshit.
If enemies have that fucking body armor, then players should also have it. It's ridicolous that government secret agents don't have overtly inflated hitpoints and go down in few hits when compared to some random trash guy armed with an AK.

but if you're a contrarian who thinks that destiny and all borderlands games already have awful gameplay, then it's like that except worse.

It's pretty alright. It's definitely better than Borderlands. Perhaps doing everything solo is quite a pain.

Worth picking up for the probably 15 bucks and play with a friend.

You play solo if you want but you can always activate matchmaking to free roam or do the main missions with other players.
Though in the Dark Zone you can see other players and its pvp.
