All those games also have garbage end game and turn into wallet gougers.
Archage requires you to pay through the nose for the town building end game, Tera has basically no end game and everyone quits before max level, and BDO turns into a stale grind to get enough gold to have a tiny chance to upgrade gear.
All three have an end game that is just killing enemies as they spawn for hours on end. The combat systems are not enjoyable enough to make that worthwhile.

In TBC and I guess vanilla, hunters could lose their auto attacks if they used an ability when the auto was meant to go off. It was called clipping your auto if that happened and you lost one. The solution was to use rhythmic rotations to get all of your autos and max dps which I vastly preferred to the rotations when I last played because you could kind of autopilot it when you got it down and watch the game instead of watching your cooldowns.

It's just overall a bad game.

You can't hit fuckall past 10 feet so the most viable way to play a caster is wear full plate and use a 2 handed sword so you can switch between spamming garbage and pray it will hit and if they get close you go to your zweihander again.

If lag kicked in it was even worse but usually it's not a problem.

You really have to build the game up from the ground up with the freeform aiming thing in mind like an action game, like Dragons Dogma or whatever, otherwise it's going to be a half assed version of it like literally every modern mmorpg where you can spam all melee abilities at will but still have to have a target to which your ranged things will magnetize toward.

I leveled 1-60 on Nost at a chill pace and enjoyed it a lot. Dropped the game shortly after hitting 60 because running the same dungeons to be able to run the same raids wasn't as fun as it was back in the day when future updates were unknown.

His server is built on different architecture to Mangos, which means that scripting a lot of stuff like bossfights and quest events is 10x easier, but a lot of stuff that works on mangos has to be completely rescripted, like vanilla dungeons.

Also, why do you need vanilla dungeons to level profs? you can get plenty of that shit out in the world.

I think they were about the same as t5 gear. I'm pretty sure I heard you only needed vials of eternity to get there, though I could be wrong. Remember though, raids don't drop badges since it's set to 2.0 mechanics, so badge gear as a whole is going to take a lot more time to get. isn't that kind of the point though? I thought one of the big arguments against raid progression was that if a guild lost a geared player it took months to regear somebody else. This way guilds can still replace people fairly quickly, while stopping new guilds/players from progressing too quickly.
