It's word chain along a theme. So if op says Etna, someone says "Atrius" The last letter (syllable depending on language) determins the new word

In the original Japanese if you hit anything with an /n/ sound you loose. There's better ways to explain the game and make it work for non-asiatic languages but weebs love the base version so someone will be able to do better than this

In Japanese, every letter is either a vowel, a consonant + a vowel, or an N by itself.
The N by itself never appears at the start of a word so if you end a word in N, you lose.

I guess "niggers" would be ニーガス, in which case the word would start with ニ (ni) and not ン (n) . Like people have said, no words start with the "n" sound in moonrunes
