It's not really that black and white.

Dracula is introduced as being a pretty decent guy and the church is viewed as being partly corrupt and partly good.

The main hero wears a crucifix on his back, and derives his power from holy consecrated weaponry and is assisted by properly ordained priests.

Even the demons acknowledge the power of the Catholic church but recognize that the Bishops they attack are corrupt and thus have no real power. "Telling lies? In your house of God?"

I'll admit the tone of the show in episode 1 does make it sound distinctly anti-catholic church but that soon changes as the topic is revisited.
