I should really try playing ds3 again. I had to stop because of a bug where the doors kept making a noise on loop and you could hear it pretty much everywhere. Imagine a game set 300 years after the ending of Dead Space 3, were a tiny colony of humans are still living safely on a colony far away from the necromorphs, and they believe Isaac Clark was their prophet and saviour and have been developing weapons to venture to space and kill all the necromorphs once and for all
But in the way they find there're still a bunch of other colonies that hate Isaac Clark and believe he was the man that destroyed humanity, and many other alien races working with and against humanity to destroy the plague before it ends all the live in the universe

And at the end of the game you find out Isaac is still alive as an artificial intelligence that is keeping the last remants of humanity from finding the necromorphs and vice versa by giving both factions wrong data and you have to decide if you want to destroy Isaac and stop his suffering by taking his place, or ... I dont know

More like an alphabet. A lot of the messages written in blood in all of the games are written in Marker Alphabet, and in certain portions of DS2, when Isaac is having those dementia flashes the messages written in marker alphabet turn into regular English, which explains why he can read them in DS3 and it tells us how his mind is affected by the marker, and makes it pretty simple to translate and figure out missing letters and messages. In DS3 he even does it willingly, and I find it funny nobody in the game tried decoding it themselves given it's not even another language, just english with a sort of code alphabate which doesn't require a language scientist to decode.

It's not really a leak. I guess one of the developers at a convention mentioned how they had a completely different story for DS3 originally but it was rejected. It went something like this

I think the main reason that DS3 was so awful is that a lead producer quit after DS2 and they promoted the senior map designer to producer and he had no fucking idea what made DS1 & 2 good.

One of the devs who worked at visceral posted in the dead space something awful thread and he agreed with pretty much everyone on why it was garbage and why the reason for it being garbage were accurate. On top of all THAT EA were pushing the fucking micro transaction train to try and bleed every cent out of everyone stupid enough to buy the game.

Can we at least admit the bretheren moons were a cool Lovevraftian concept? For me, the open spaces really kill the horror theme. You can nearly always see where the enemies are, and most of the time where they come from as well. If youre not brain-dead, you can see the vents and the possible doorways, and all of the vents in DS3 always have enemies, unlike DS1, which looses the apprehension feeling whenever you walk around in DS1. And the crafting as well. Whenever i craft a new weapon, i will always: 1.find an enemy to shoot it at, 2.Calculate how much ammo each shot uses, 3.Think of a better gun. I was so focused on the shooting part of the game that the horror just doesnt seem to be there anymore.

It's the DLC from 3. The moons make you hallucinate constantly which turns Isaac and Carver against each other. Both players fight weird ghost versions of their teammate, then team up to kill the prophet of the moons.

My favorite thing about 2 was that they realized that they can't really do horror so they just went balls to the wall with action.
The entire game was basically a subversion of the first one.

I just want a left4dead co-op game based on the fucking sprawl from DS2, the MP was ok on that game but i wanted a real co-op mode, it would be awesome playing as some security team trying at first to save as many people as they can from the claws of the necros and then their high in command tells them to put explosives on the path to their base to stop Isaac or some shit like that.
and end with you being on the shield wall to stop Isaac from entering and ending with him opening the doors.
