being able to make totally pointless spells, like making it so all the physics objects in an area near you float up in the air, put this game above far above skyrim. the settings were varied too, other than the lame orc island you start on.

I know people are shitting over Skyrim a lot but I modded it to basically be a big budget Dwarf Fortress Adventure Mode and I've been having tons of fun. You get weird unscripted moments like being stuck in a fort because of cold-ass blizzards that make it impossible to travel or taking over towns with your bandit gang before getting wrecked by an army of hold guards who decided to show up.

I know mods don't really count as a measure of quality but god damn, I haven't had this much fun in ages.

I thought the campaign was FANTASTIC. Then I played multiplayer with a buddy and felt CHEATED. Why the fuck do they make an entire separate landmass for multiplayer and force you into literal hallway stages and some half assed village simulator rather than just let you do the campaign together?

I remember some of those. I just feel it's weird because it's a really good game that people mostly seem to forget about when they talk about N64 classics or good modernized releases.

Yeah I don't understand how they could make such a borefest of a multiplayer map. The main appeal of the game is exploration and the ridiculous amount of multi-ended quests you can do in almost any order.

The pirate DLC is amazing.
