Yeah what we really need are more 10 minute cutscenes and long drawn out parts with no gameplay.

You're acting like it's either all one way, or all the other, but yeah, an entry in a series that is famed for its story should probably have some cutscenes in it. A balance between gameplay and story would have been nice, not to mention a lot more mission variety.
