I think a lot of people feel this way about NWN2 campaign. It really starts to shine only in the middle of the second act.

I played it on my awful toaster and had to drop it after bathing on Loki's blood and becoming some sort of demon because the game kept crashing on some cutscene, might give it another go someday.
