Is there any point in taking a path besides neutral in SMT?

Neutral is only good in SMT I and IV.

Have you responded positively to any of Gozu Tennoh's or hat boy's questions? If yes, you have points for that route, but I think you need to respond positively to the obscure trigger questions in order to actually go on the route, but I may be wrong about that part.

Well, if you want to kill everything and also fight Luci at the end, that's always an option. Personally though, I like saving TD for a Hard mode second run. It feels more like an NG plus route, but I still recommend killing Metatron if you go into the final dungeon before you clear Amala.
