At all times? Nah, not if you don't want to. Using them against bosses and other large enemies, yeah that might be a good idea. Boosts to attack or magic are a given, stamina recovery when climbing large enemies so you never have to stop attacking them is a huge help too. Healing restoratives are better than wasting a pawn on the classic healbot when you could be having a mage/sorceror who actually makes an impact in battle.

It's the unfortunate truth that there's always one move that gives you the most damage and doing anything but spamming that single move just means you do less damage but at least have some fun

It's not really instant reset

In DDO warrior gets a mechanic called 'Brace' built in to their kit. Brace is basically yelling angrily to ignore flinching/knockback and reduce incoming damage by about 95% (also builds your anger meter). Imagine a perfect block with Fighter/Mystic Knight except Warrior can ONLY perfect block, you can't just hold it.

You can use one of your skill slots to equip what is basically a super version of Brace on a 3 second cooldown which massively reduces the damage you take even further, has a larger window and gives you significantly more anger for bracing through an attack.

Once you upgrade the ability to a certain rank you can use the Super Brace skill at literally any time, meaning you can use it to cancel long recovery animations/animation cancel/recover midair, etc.

Ok, so i have two level 200 save files, one is an archer/assassin/ min/maxed to have insane physical dmg and stamina and the other is a min/maxed sorcerer/MA.

I would start again but i'm a fucking autist and i just can't bear the thought of not looking at my chest/inventory and not see all the loot/gear i acquired through 700hours of gameplay.


Which one should i use to play again? I think i will use Legendary Dark Arisen, the mod that spawns 3 of each enemy.

Just skip the NPC escort quest and do it later after you placed portcrystal in their destination spot, i found the amount of escort quest to be incredibly stupid, it just never end even if all what i did is teleport to instant-clear the quest, new one just comes out.
Personally i never really pick quest in the quest board and just do whatever i want.

I think that's kind of a good thing, but yes the environment doesn't really have that much variety.
If only they could've made the world as big as they wanted to.

The differences in terrain are much smaller, but they are there. The lush and coastal south is fairly distinct from the windswept and colder north, even if both have grass. If you don't know them, they'll probably look the same but you actually can tell if you pay attention to things such as the trees. I quite like that, personally.

The game DOES suffer from reused assets though.

With the added PC sales of this game, I wonder if we'll ever see a proper sequel. This is one of the greatest modern rpg's, even being half finished. It's a breath of fresh air.

MA or MK are really the only classes worth playing for me, everything else is pretty boring.

these screenshots are 5 minutes apart, and I took the first one when I first entered the Everfall (before it goes to shit) and the second one is right after killing the ogre in the Everfall.
Meaning after killing roughly 15 zombies and 1 ogre my Pawn goes from lvl 116 to 119

There is indeed an EXP bonus/penalty system. If I recall correctly, fewer pawns means more EXP, lower levels (compared to the average level of the party, I think) means more EXP, and the opposite is also true.
