In terms of soundstrack:

ODST > 2 >> 3 = CE > Reach >> 4 > 5

As much as I think 4's story is dogshit and the campaign missions are servicable at best, 4's OST is actually pretty underrated. It's no marty, but it does a really good job at giving a sense of atmosphere to requim (it basically did the same thing CE did with using synths for forerunner ruins as a contrast to tracks for natural outdoor areas, except arguable working even better here at least when the Infinity and other UNSC forces don't ruin it with their presence

Halo 2 was better then Halo 3 in every way other then forge, and ODST and Reach were better then 3 in most ways as well.

2 had a better community for customs and the lack of forge forced more creatviity, wheras Reach, H2A, especially 5 (seriously, 5's SP is trash but the forge is incredible), and even 4 had a much more improved forge that actually allowed creative ideas to turn into modes rather then most of them not working well due to how clunky 3's forge was.

Again, Halo 3 babies need to leave.
