Now don't get me wrong, I'm a big fan of the old Splatterhouse games and bought and enjoyed the new one when it came out, I wouldn't quite put it up with those two games. The finisher moves were too long, most enemies only had one animation, 2d and platforming segments weren't good and it was kinda buggy, I got locked in a hallway because the next area wouldn't load a few times. I liked it sure, but it's really not that great.

I think pic related is more underrated. It's a simple action game, there are only QTE finishers for bosses and using your super against a miniboss, it was a budget title and didn't outstay its welcome.

Making a holy trinity for games that are "underrated" is dumb. Not very holy if they're only there because they're unpopular. Also Zoe2 sucks. Don't mention God Hand in the same sentence as those games.

No, you know what? Golden Axe 3 is the most underrated beat em up. It was before my time but apparently it got slammed by critics at the time and that's a damn shame. Yeah it looks a bit uglier and they removed some of the new features from Golden Axe 2, but they added new characters, more levels with branching paths and everyone gets a way expanded moveset so it's not just a button mash fest. Fuck everyone, GA3 is fucking good.
