I really liked how you can just drop anywhere in the level and then go about doing the objectives, much better than super linear scripted shit

I thought darkest of days was pretty fun
Plot and voice acting was pretty shitty but gameplay was unique and entertaining
I loved killing important people and causing the time police to show up only to cheese them out in some way and kill them too so i could get future guns
