Starsector thread. Why is this game so good?

Theres problems with it, because in vanilla right now there's nothing really to do except assemble a fleet and get dosh.
of course there's mods that add capturing planets and stuff but that's kind of a bullshit excuse. Hopefully next year Alex adds more stuff to do than just get shiny ships

I don't really know, and I don't think anyone really knows. If I were to guess outposts are going to become a thing since that buttons there but it doesn't really do anything, capturing planets is just a maybe.

Also I wish there was more faction specific ships, I really like the Luddic Church but all they have are recolors. On the other side of the Ludd coin the path ships are very well defined by them all having Safety overrides and Ill Advised Modifications.
