The Server map was autistically hand crafted certain important resource nodes such as tar can only be found in places it would make sense to find them. I.E
Deserts, Tundras, and Swamps. This requires teamwork and merchants to reliably craft higher end boats.
Stats: Epic Server 2.5 XP gain 6.5X Action rate. PVP enabled.
Server Mods:Spell mod, Seasons mod, bag of holding, improved digging, crop mod, Bounties +several other fixes and tweaks.

It was an alright server but there was a rollback according to the 8ch thread and I think more'll come.

We're unning on a 32gb RAM server, with experienced GMs and a developer.

Admin here, the rollback was due to installing an old mod that some of the oldfags from wurm general really wanted. The bulk item transfer mod which allows players to move 1000's of items from their inventory to boxes.

That mod corrupted a days worth of items (not structures) which I painstakingly replaced and compensated immediately. I've updated the DB back-up system so that it backs up a working copy (that I've tested) every time I open the the DB editor.

as the sun crests over our humble encampment, another god appeared before us, he took pity upon our poor status. He showered us with more gifts: fertile land and a wooden abode. We cautiously accepted as he departed us. As we were digging the soil looking for minerals, we "accidentally" destroyed our log cabin.
We realized soon after that we need to start a settlement, but we needed a new building. the generous god returned and gifted us a new stone home that outshined our last. We realized our folly with this false god; he claims the land as his own with this accursed totem. In defiance, we attempted to destroy the sinful monument, however our feeble arms were not strong enough to accomplish the deed.
Hours later, the god returned and we begged him to remove his mistake. he complied and to our surprise was able to summon more companions
As the god leaves once again, our goal has been set. We would build a tower to pierce the heavens and ink the clouds. Our forces gathered at the bas of the hill and the top of the mountain to collect an unimaginable amount of resources. We slaved for hours to collect our required resources, our temple was in our sight.
We erected the tower slowly. Finally, we gathered around the base and inserted our last two magical bricks. The tower rose around us. Black coulds swirled around the base as the winds carried our dreams into the sky. a flash of light filled our eyes as a black tower covered in threatening spires appeared in our grasp.
We celebrated. We worshiped this black being which rose into the sky. We gathered around the town center to declare that we have accomplished our first achievement: we declared our presence in the world with our new town forthwith named Flavor Town. We gazed in awe as ghostly spectres and black guards materialized from our declaration totem. Friends that were separated by days of travel were teleported by own own will to our encampment. We plotted our next goals.
