What makes a good Dragon Ball game?

BT3 did this well, but lacked depth. DBFZ seems to be a good middle ground, and that's why there's a lot of hype.

A blend of humor, fanservice, as well as solid controls.

For the time being, I think Xenoverse is the best that's been put out, since it doesn't cater specifically to fighter fans, and instead allows for a really big guilty pleasure of doing the main story with enough unique material on the side to make it memorable on its own.

Another fun game is Legacy of Goku II, but it was far better than it deserved after that first game came out and literally robbed people of their money. It also had bitchin remakes of Faulconer's music from the series at that point, only now through the GBA.
