Everything but the story is good.

The story is fucking stupid.

People weren't/aren't willing to accept magic as anything other than a weapon so when the game says to them that its more of a utility everyone freaks out.

Really the only magic you out to use is a few utility spells like haste and regen for your party and meltdown for your enemies (and curaga for undeads)

The story however is geared for a 14 year old hopeless romantic whose head is way up their own ass so as a 20 or 30 something you might be put off by this. Still worth the play imo.

Also the music is very good put much more about setpieces as opposed to FF7's songs which were more about being good songs.

Summons are pretty neat and a few are kinda weird. Will have to jump through a few hoops to get them all like Odin, Tonberry King and Cactuar. All worth it though.

Locations are kinda hit & miss. The temple where you get the Brothers summon was meh but Ultimecia's Castle was great. Lunatic Pandora was neat. The Gardens are nice. etc.

Limit Breaks range from being great to down right broken.

Hidden bosses are nice, like Bahamut, Ultima Weapon & Omega Weapon.

It's alright, it probably would've been better if it came out before VII
