So whats the lore behind this dragon? He eats the dark, so why exactly are we fighting him?
And where the hell was he when manus, 4kings, nashanda, her "sisters", dark lurker, and deacons were happening?

Only fight I skipped. The bonfire is too far away.

After watching several people do it on youtube I have to say Midir blows Grigori out of the fucking water, holy shit it just spams cutscenes at you and he just fucking stands there giving you endless time to wail on him.
Midir is fucking relentless by comparison and theres no break in the action.

I've beaten the game several times for muh platinum, but Midir's fight just takes too long and feels more like a chore. I killed him twice for the katana and sorcery.
