None of those have good gameplay though. Yakuza is a shallow beat em up with the depth of a musou game. Nier is just Bayo/MGR combat but somehow even more shallow. Persona is turn based garbage. Gravity rush is nothing incarnate. Zelda is just plain boring.

A game cannot be a timeless classic if it doesn't have shit that's unique to the game. If a new game happens and just does the same shit as the previous game but improves on it then why would the previous game be considered a timeless classic?

The only praise P5 gets is over proper dungeons, demon negotiation and the actual improved combat system which will obviously be in P6 but probably with more unknown features. Otherwise followed the same shitty story structure as P3 and P4 with same undeveloped characters as 4 that dicksuck the MC.

I've only genuinely enjoyed 3 western games in the last 3 fucking years. Titanfall 2, Underrail and DOOM. Just in 2017 Japanese games fucking tripled that.

None of this takes away from the fact that it should not have sold more than a game on a 60 mil plus console at less than a quarter of consoles that BOTW is on.
