BotW was mediocre as fuck. It'll get GOTY from all of the retarded critics though because of "muh open world". Odyssey will probably be the game that actually deserves GOTY but it won't get it.

What I want to know is if you can possess the little lizards running around in that world. Ditto for the ones in the forest world. I wanna play as one of those cute geckers.

64, Sunshine and Galaxy had 120 stars/shines. Galaxy 2 had 240 stars if you include the green stars. 3D World has 380 green stars. How many power moons do you think there will be in Odyssey. There is at least 23 moons in New Donk City alone. Plus there is probably 2 boss battles per world (one broodal battle and one night-time boss battle like Mechawiggler), each of those give you one grand Moon (worth 3 power moons). So if we say there are 30 moons per level and we've seen 6 levels so far, that puts us on 180 moons already.

Top is course clear, you pick a level and follow a distinct path to the end while trying to not die, then move on to the next level.
Bottom is sandbox, you freely explore self-contained areas for stars/shines/moons.

I think they said some level could have up to 50 moons.
That said, they made a mention a while back that there would be more moons than past main collectables in past games (If I remember correctly). Now, I'm not sure if they were counting 3D World, or even the Galaxy games, they may have meant just the sandbox titles, however, since a lot of the moons are more casually hidden, they can afford to put a lot more in, so I'd imagine we'll have at least 300-400 moons.

I believe the crouch jump is still in there, I think I remember doing it while playing the demo at E3.
Honestly, the movement options provided feel really good, like it's fun to just run around, then long jump into a roll.
