Months back it was teased/announced that Terry was at Blizzard for some unknown reason. People speculated he was there to do the voice for Doomfist. Doomfist gets revealed and he's voiced by someone else and people got upset that Crews isn't voicing Doomfist.

I mean the VAs in OW are good but there a bunch of nobodies outside of maybe Symetra who has been in a few Bollywood films

I don't think Terry is the type of guys who would ask for a bunch but who knows about his agents/manager etc.

I mean having one talented guy in a group of nobodies seems rough it's like getting a bunch of people that like trying to do unofficial dubs to come in and act next to Leonardo DiCaprio.

In the end even if that was a possible cause it's still stupid, big name stars do voices for shit all the time like I know LoL and Dota have celeb announcer voice overs people can pay for, and desu I dropped OW months ago Terry being doomfist would've brought me back.

If there are others like me it's a loss of potential revenue for Blizz so stupid move non the less.

Terry Crews plays Overwatch and said on twitter he'd love to voice Doomfist if they added him to the roster. Crews also posted a photo of him in front of the Overwatch logo, touring Blizzard-Activision HQ. Dwayne Johnson also posted support for Crews playing Doomfist. It seemed like it should've been a no-brainer for Blizz. They had a well-liked celebrity who was an enthusiastic fan of their game and the entire internet was getting hype for Doomfist pretty much only because Terry Crews would be voicing him. Lo and behold, Blizz releases Doomfist and he's voiced some literally who from Africa.

I don't even understand how people can stand playing Overwatch and care about the "lore" when the entire game revolves around just picking your FOtM hero and fighting each other for no reason other than to rack up points.
This game is just a hollow shell of one of Titan's PVP modes and you people just eat this shit up.
