I don't even remember the last time I got that feeling, definitely not FF9. At the very end of FF8, I think I was so pissed at the time compression/ dimensions crap that I just wanted it to be over. I hate dimensions/time travel as plot devices, they always leave me with a million "why didn't they just" questions.
