It is likely that this hype will die down and we won't hear much from VR for the next few years though
At this point in time you're paying a premium to beta test a technology so unless you have a lot of money to waste, which you obviously don't since you're making this thread, it's not worth it

I got the Vive.
I think it's fun and don't regret buying it. I wouldent recommend getting one yet unless you really have cash to burn. There really are no games at the moment. Vr is really amazing to play and is a great thing at partys and like but i don't find myself playing it hours on end like regular games.
