If it weren't for lolis, the game probably wouldn't still have nearly as many players in the West nor East. That being said, I feel like reapers were the beginning of the end as far as playability since it encouraged them to pump out lazily balanced, too-flashy, genderlocked classes and costumes to dress them up in rather than taking their time to make simple racelocks or, better yet, optimizing the game instead.

The game had a lot of great ideas and a solid combat system, but there were so many glaring flaws and half assed content (questing, crafting, etc. were total garbage)

However it did go from being in the top 10 most profitable mmorpgs to dropping out in the space of 2 years.
