It definitely has its moments, but the mission design, especially for side quests, is atrocious.

I mean, they create a game with some awesome traversal mechanics and a decent combat, but most of the missions are designed so they restrict those very same things, instead forcing on you some half baked new mechanics that are only used on that mission.
The amount of tutorials you still see at the start of missions 10+ hours scream terrible game design.

The most fun you'll have with this game is literally when you are going around without a worry in the world just collecting gems.

I think it's especially weird that the old mayor D'nelica doesn't make an appearance.

We get an explanation for why he knew who Kat really was at the end of the first game, and that his desperation for militarizing the city was out of fear of the encroaching darkness that she warned them about. But we only hear about him in passing.
