I haven't pirated a game in years. Buying games at release these days is basically a scam, so I just wait a year or two until they go on sale for $10-15. By that point any hype as worn off and I have a clear idea whether or not I actually want to bother playing the game or not.

The only thing I pirate are movies and porn. Both of which I still wouldn't pay for if pirating wasn't an option.
Maybe there's one or two movies a year I would consider buying, but the prices for movies don't match the entertainment value.

Just tried it. With the VPN on my apparent location is not where I live. So the VPN is working.

That being said, lots of people are pretty dumb with VPNs.
I do not allow my browser to keep a browsing history. I only allow cookies from specific sites. I have no cache of any kind. No external programs unless I specifically enable them (no java, flash and so on).
Additionally, I always securely delete my files with at least 7 overwrites, this includes erasing it's MFT entry. And anything I'm not specifically using at this moment in time, I keep encrypted.

Might seem over the top, but at one point I was accused of committing computer related crimes. The police didn't have shit on me, but that didn't stop them from trying to ruin my life.
