It's a very good mouse, the free form mousewheel is the only issue imo. Make sure to press down, but not all the way, on the button when you're done scrolling to stop it from scrolling after you let go. That's the only real workaround

I've got a g502 and to be honest I'd rather have the one in the OP pic

The rubber on the sides in the g502 starts to wear off, the wheel is made of iron or something and hurts my fingers sometimes (also is oxidating).

I like the extra buttons though.
