if you do a knife build go full bleeding and craft only serrated knives.
might want to invest in throwing a bit for nets and molotovs. since you will be overwhelmed once you get to depot A.
tthe only difference in male and female charachters really is that kicking stuns to males and they have to wear a crotch protector to stop that.
as female pc you only get the damage but no stun. if you go for a knife character you want to be female since kicking is very prevailant in melee characters.
also you want to pay very close attention to your armor penalty.

actually now that i think a bout it kicking was changed. it stuns both genders now for one turn but 1 extra turn for males.
still better to be female in melee only scenarios.

its getting an expansion soon.
this is the gog version. try it out. id actually recommend buying it if you like it. its one of those games that you can just play over and over again because of how many builds you can do and how many synergies there are.

you just wont have any fun in the long run because nothing will pose a threat in any significant way.
your inventory will slowly fill up with hypos, bandages and stims youll never use and your best in slot knuckles can be gotten before you even enter junkyard officially.

i like the game, it makes original fallouts obsolete mechanically (as does age of decadence), but lack of map feature makes it a near-unbearable slog.

initially i disliked not having a map too.
i got used to navigating by what npcs tell me to do.
i just got used to it. i dont even mind it anymore if i take a wrong turn and have to backtrack a bit.

Males have additional content with one quest
for the rest there's a few cosmetic changes, minor dialog changes oh and males get stunned twice as long by the "dirty kick" attack but also have the unique equipment "groin protector" which reduces enemy crit chance
