ITT: Games that can never start a successful thread

Mafia threads used to be great. Only died because of mafia 3

Ugh what went wrong...

Destroy All Humans 1 and especially 2 where so good.

I miss that game, the weapon death animations were bloody awesome, especially the disintegrator
MadWorld, though it may just be a more recent drought

2 you mean.

Mafia II is decent.
It's an expansion pack compared to the first game with the lack of effort from Experience inc.
Uncharted 4
Undertale
Pokemon Go
There are no shortage of enjoyable games that got thrown under the bus.

>You need a crack so you can play the game because devs can't into programming
Great setting and atmosphere but the gameplay gets stale pretty fast.
Gearbox did some interesting stuff before they decided to turn into the Borderlands company.

Was this the game that had the little wheels to show suppression? That was a cool mechanic. Pinning an enemy down felt as satisfying as shooting them and I don't know many games that I could say that for. In fact I can't really think of many FSP games with a focus of suppression and flanking like this. It's usually just about reactions and mechanical skill.

remake when?

>xD
If you bought a physical copy, the Steam code came with Source ports of the first game and it's expansion. The game was pirated so hard, it didn't just die, it killed episode gaming for years on end since the industry was watching it as a make or break moment.

That's a mechanic throughout the whole series. The Battlefield series also implemented a suppression mechanic around 3 or so.
