That being said I really enjoyed vanilla Destiny before the expansions after buying it on a friend's recommendation until I reached the level where you needed light to level up.

The expansions weren't large, they split the playerbase by alienating vanilla players and when you get to the light needing level you realise the game isn't advancing and you're grinding on a soon to be stale game.

I bought Destiny 1 on PS4 in a christmas sale (got it for about £15 with the taken king)
game was ok, and it had a fair amount of content to keep you going, but I don't think I would have paid full price for it, and I'm hesitant to do it for Destiny 2

I'll wait for reviews, and I'll wait to see if they fuck up the PC port, because there is no way in hell I would get it on console again if PC is an option

Warframe as a game has literally no depth or purpose. The enemies have no AI, the levels have no interesting mechanics, the upgrade system is just "grind the next thing so it'll max out so you can buy more things to grind".

The only "fun" part of the game are the movement mechanics, but in a game as shitty as Warframe they serve no purpose.

How is loot distributed this time around? Can I still go 1/16/2 in a crucible match and walk out with an exotic? Will I finish a Nightfall and get upgrade shards while my 2 teammates get some of the most sought after gear in the game? Can I complete some of the hardest content and get rewarded with fuck all while my friends get showered with purples and yellows despite doing worse than me?

Because if so the game can fuck right off.
