I WAS CHOSEN TO SUFFER. SUFFER I MUST

Play a real roguelike.
>>383473729
But real rogue likes are bad, especially the ones with the "old boring le wizardry and magic" setting.
Soothed, sedated.

Who the fuck enjoys Darkest Dungeons for its roguelike aspects anyway?
>>383473634
AaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH
How will they nerf her?
why the fuck did they nerf the jester
>>383475853
reddits spamming videos where they would one shot a few bosses
>>383475853
Because finale allowed scrubs to win at the game without actually playing.
I wan't to play DD and Crash 3 so bad, but I'm away from home for 4 more days. Fuck this, man...
>>383474261
ANGER IS POWER.
UNLEASH IT
>>383476926
it's pretty much useless now though, the damage isn't needed late into the fight where it's used now
>>383476926
Scrubs were not the ones using Jester.
>>383473634
What is the best party for Necromancer lv3?
I lost 1 team already.
>tfw feels like I haven't got a Virtue on a stress check in fucking ages
>>383473729
for what purpose.
>>383477374
Can't go wrong with 2 crusaders to mow down the hordes, someone will a pulling ability to fish the necro and a vestal to keep people healed.
>>383474664
/v/ i've had dd in my backlog for quite some time now but i haven't started it yet because i'm scared i'll get mad at the stress and disease mechanics.
Am i being a little bitch or is stress annoying as fuck?
>>383477374
>dying to necromancer
try the uninstall team
>>383477624
Both stress and disease need management but aren't cripplingly frustrating; take a Jester or a Houndmaster against hi-stress runs/areas and remember to liberally use the medical ward. That's it.
Oh, and kill everything that gives stress as soon as you can.
>>383473729
>newfags' idea of bait is to just post a meme-laden non-sequitur
>>383477624
>stress
It's just another health bar to keep track of. Follow >>383477750 advice, bring a Jester or a Houndmaster in spot 3 with their stress reduce ability, and use it a couple of times after the first couple rounds of combat, once you are in cleanup mode and can afford to not have the character attacking. Even just a crusader or flagellant (if DLC) can work as de-stresser if you follow the basic premise of 'nuke the stresscaster(s) first'.
>disease
Debuff, costs a small amount of gold between adventures to cure (and some characters can cure them during adventure camping sessions). Disease is more of a 'darn, that's inconvenient' mechanic rather then a crippling rage-inducer. Convieniently in the areas that prominently feature disease, the disease-ers are also frequently the stress-ers, so you should already be focusing them down.

>m-my game is a roguelike, you are just baiting
>>383478190
Doesn't help that my adventures always seem to pick up random diseases during the level up screen when I select the mask.
Speaking of which, should I always click the mask thing when available for random positive quirks/negative quirks or just ignore it?
>>383478289
Not him. You can't avoid the "mask thing" if we're talking about the same. You have a chance, influenced by stress, to get a positive/negative quirk (or even a disease) for each character after a mission.
>>383477624
neither is really all that destructive and can be easily removed after a run. now QUIRKS will drive you mad if you have OCD though. you'll never be able to remove them all until lategame.
>>383477689
try rope and tree, kid
I started a new save for Crimson Court and I did they courtyard when I just unlocked level 2 blacksmith to get rid of the annoying bugs town event.
Didn't know that the DLC enemy would start appearing outside the DLC area and then infect a few of my guys, so now I have no choice but to finish the big ass DLC map just to cure my guys before I run out of blood. It doesn't help that the DLC enemies that infects you are pretty tanky and have a high stun resist to boot.

Play a real game.
