Undertale is a really overrated game in my opinion.

Like, I don't know why people rave over it so much. Negotiate with your enemy? SMT got that covered. Different endings depending on your actions? Shit ton of games already do that. I really don't get how people see Undertale to be as special as thet say it is.

The visuals are fucking horrible. At least Hotline Miami had fun colors going on. Shit, the spriteworks for the game is utter crap even in indie standards. The soundtrack doesn't personally interest me.

I really don't get how Undertale was the game to break big. Undertale wasn't innovative in any means. Not saying you can't enjoy it, although I know I can't. I just don't see how it became so successful and got legions of fanboys.

Wow that's an interesting response. Not that anon, but I'm 23 and think that undertale is in no way innovative with a terrible visual aesthetic, very poorly animated sprites and a cute, but overdeveloped plot. My ten year old brother is fucking in love with it though. At least it got him playing Mother.

I have honestly no idea. I saw it and loved it. The music the characters the humor especially and I disliked the story very much. It's just the perfect mix of random/cute/ vs dark/emotional that people loved maybe.
