Support in dota is also fun. I Love depositing enemies with a force staff right into your team mates all while stunning them and healing everyone else, its like pulling them into a grinder. Saving a team mate from death is also the single best feeling in all of dota. Also half the supports have the ability to do some other job built it. Some nuke, some push and take towers, some play an extremely core roll and counter during team fights.

I literally don't know a single person who has played Dota 2. I play League with my friends everyday and we have fun. I've invested 4 years and $1500 so my opinion is probably shit.

I would recommend zeus for nuker. Hero is straight forward but mana consumption is a bit iffy for first timer. Tidehunter for support. He doesn't have great burst damage but his ulti make a huge difference in teamfight and he's tanky. Wraith king , sven and ursa for tanky damage dealer, sven requires a lot more effort than the other two but once you have required items he's pretty much unstoppable force. Ursa is a burst kind of hero, you need lifesteal and dagger. Wraith king is straight forward boring hero, his ulti is a passive that required mana so watch out for it.

If you are into competitive watching, i suggested to watch Dota2 majors this year on youtube and follow The International 7 which will be live on August.

Yeah when the enemy team has 10k gold lead, baron buff, elder buff and 6 super minions pushing while your team has 2 dead I am sure as hell the remaining 3 of you are just going to hold it.

Yet in every LoL match I watched I still saw the remaining team trying their hardest to fight off the enemy on the last 2 towers. I assumed Riot simply didn't allow surrendering, but I guess they are just a bunch of faggots then. At least in DotA the pros surrender when its over and don't waste the viewers time.

Dota 2 WAS better and harder than League. It took quite some time to get good, or just to get a single kill in the beginning. LoL, on the other hand was easy from the very first day, and that's why more people loved it. You didn't need to wait to be good, in order to have fun.

Nowadays, Dota 2 has become EASIER than League. I never thought I would say something like this in my life, but it's true. The reason is quite simple...

Valve got really greedy with the whole hats and cosmetic shit. They wanted more sales, so they dumbed down the game to attract the new players and show them how fun the game was... from DAY ONE. No need to be good and practice to have fun anymore.

Dota 2 was fun because you were rewarded for being good and for knowing how to use the mechanics. But now, the noobs have a bigger advantage than you. Believe it or not, but the game is giving you extra experience and gold if you happen to be doing badly in a match. It has become a joke of a game. Getting 100 last hits by minute 10 means jack shit now, and...

The noob that has been afk most of the game, browsing facebook or cooking a meal... will actually end up getting extra gold/xp because of the new mechanics. It's pathetic.

The only good thing about this, is that I finally stopped playing the game! I quit cold-turkey after the 7.00 patch, which fucked the game even more in favor of new players. I have been playing the game since it was still a mod in the Starcraft/Warcraft days. Thank god I have beaten my addiction with the help of Valve and their greediness.

P.S: I know some fags won't read my post, so here's a quick run-down...

All basic skills are available from start.
More than 10 maps.
Characters are not literally who's from fucking nowhere, but actual characters from Blizz games.
Mounts.
No last-hitting, farming, jungling and other unnecessary garbage.
No broken or useless characters.

I played original Dota, LoL and Dota2, but honestly Hots, while seem simple is lot more fun and lot less rage-inducing. Also, matches short, which is great for actual adults, who often do not have enough time to farm for 30 to actually start playing.

I've played DotA 2, LoL, HoN, and HotS.
Out of these 4 I probably enjoyed HoN the most. Until they let players buy Beta heroes to test on live servers.
League of Legends during pre season 1 was a complete clusterfuck of a casual moba, but it was free. Season 2 was probably the pinnacle of LoL.
When DotA 2 came out it struck me as a slower paced HoN with visual upgrades.
And finally when I picked up HotS in the alpha it was the most fun I had in the genre for years. Mostly because it was more action focused than the rest of them.

The problem with league is that if you are behind, the enemy team will literally be better at EVERYTHING the game can do. While in dota you can still have teamwinning ultimates on either teams. In league if you are mid and are fat as fuck you just burst 2/3 heroes every fight because your spells scale with gold just like a physical damage dealer.

I mean you can abandon, sure after enough abandons you're put into low prio but you can still play the game. Not to mention not all games are lost, I've played countless games where my friends thought the game was over, but we brought it back. Does it happen all the time? No, but it happens often enough to warrant giving it a go.

god fucking damn it, back when I first started watching esports, he was one of the first casters I had watched. The world is in shambles.

Also I played league first and after about 2 years made the transition to Dota2. Never looked back since. There's so many elements in dota that I just couldn't do without anymore, like being able to TP freely or buyback.
Also games aren't as streamlined as in LuL, if you're behind 5-20 in LoL you already lost, in Dota you can still come back easily, depending on the heroes.

tl;dr league a shit except for the r34, that shit is a gold mine while dota's is only manfaces and dykes
