Best is 5CP because it allows for fast paced games if teams are small or slow paced games if teams are big but either way the pacing is dictated by the players and not by systems, making every fight and point more meaningful.
Worst is CTF because it's just so aimless. It's very possible one person can cap the objective, something not possible in other modes aside from the occasional Spy-cap in Dustbowl. There will be one or two engies defending the flag (this, by the way, is the most boring thing you could possibly do while still ~playing~ an official gamemode) while the rest of the team basically plays TDM in center map. The objective is also lopsided to favor mobile classes-- if the enemy has your flag and you're anything but a scout or a scout or a demo with 4 heads (possible, it's tdm after all) you're screwed out of enjoying the objective. When someone caps it's like, "Oh, okay, whatever." Nobody cares about winning in CTF. It's because the objective is so flimsy. It's not team oriented.

This update's going down one of two ways:
1. Three day update where they announce on Tuesday with new weapons, Wed with the maps and achievements, Thurs with the SFM short and release
2. Tease this Thursday, with little teases on their site each day until the final day when they reveal everything
3. They just release it this Thursday with no fanfare

Either way I'm pissed because Overwatch got fucking Doomfist out into the open before TF2 team released their Pyro update, and Doomfist's been teased for WAY fucking longer than the MYM update's release. TF2 might not be pulling in Dota or CS:GO numbers but it's still in the top 10 most played on Steam, the fact that Valve won't realize that communication is key with their players (and ALL their players, not just fucking b4nny and Uncle Dane) makes me think that they should either outsource TF2's development or completely stop updates altogether.

The only thing this update needs to make me reinstall are enough optimisations to make the game run smooth on my old ass machine again.
Played for years on very high settings without any problems whatsoever, tried to play it again a year ago but only got stuttering and frame drops on every setting.

Sometimes you can't help being in a sniper's sights when you're pushing a cart, which coincidentally is a great place to be with the huo long heater because of the ammo restoration. I can play Pyro on pretty much any defense with no complaints. I fucking love catching people on fire from far away with the flare gun, picking off light classes with a crit flare, and juggling niggas.

Oh I'd love that too, but I don't expect anything from Valve. Ideally, I would hope this update gives Pyro a real role finally, fixes flame particles, and gives us 3 new awesome weapons, but I seriously doubt they can do that.

I'll settle just for fixing flame particles and rebalancing existing Pyro weapons since we've got useless shit like the sharpened volcano fragment and manmelter, and shit that's too nerfed beyond the point of using like the pholog and axtinguisher.

1.- Engineer, sometimes when you are playing good and your team isn't shit you are basically playing an RTS instead of an FPS. Teleporters change the direction of your team, Sentries change the direction of the enemy, dispensers also change the way your Team retreats and on top of that you are pretty much the pillar of a good push.
