Worth waiting for the Switch port or buy RuneFactory4 on 3DS? I haven't sat down to play a HM title since 64 and the first GB title, but I heard the series peaked at that point in time.

I started with Penny, but then switched and married Leah, we have one kid, girl name Maria, but I wonder every so often if I made the right choice.

Right now, I've planted Ancient Fruits in Greenhouse, that grow continuously all year, then I make wine from them, and put them in the cellar. Excess I sell. Most of the farm I run is mix of aesthetically pleasing shapes and efficiency, like in pic related. I need to work on the area on the right, because I abandoned it during winter for the left side.

Don't use mods, I finished community centre in the fall of second year, just doing one by one, and noting down some particular requirements for certain fish and season they appear during.

It's a farming game with a pixel art style. You can grow different kinds of crops depending on the season. All of the villagers are pretty fun to talk to, and special events are triggered when you get to know them better. The soundtrack is really nice to listen to, and I really like it. It's kinda addicting as well. There's supposed to be a multiplayer mode soon, but it hasn't been added yet. I recommend getting some portrait mods.

I'd grab the PC version. The default portraits (in my opinion) are really ugly, and they can't be modded out on a console. Plus, there are some cool mods on PC like Part Of The Community.

The first few times Abigail. I unironically like her. Then ever after those first few times pretty much always Haley. Mostly because in her portrait she looks similar facially to this girl I hooked up with a few times. I know how retarded that sounds, but idc.

Mod wise I haven't really seen anything worth getting. I don't really give a shit about portrait mods, and nothing seems to improve or change gameplay at all. Which really suck because I have absolutely no drive to play this game anymore. 100 or so hours will do that I guess.

I kinda got burnt out on the game by 2nd spring. I was married, made tons of cash for god knows what reasons, since I already had everything I ever wanted to. I have not been to the desert yet so that might have been a reason to continue playing and push for it (as well as the skullcave in the desert) but after all I just said meh and stopped playing.
Anyways I'd still very heavily recommend this game, played 61h and had a great time playing it. Got way more worth per dollar than most games 2bh

My Ancient Fruit greenhouse, every 13 days I get 75k gold on average, without doing anything. I think Star Fruits yield better results, but you have to get them, plant them every year.

I put turn half of it into wine, but I have only 28 kegs right now (no Oak Raisin).

I can use them, but I don't like having things not symmetrical in this kind of games. So I trade it for efficiency.

I looked up on guides, and everything that is 100% efficient looks ugly.

1) That's the most valuable spring flower. The map generator has a funky sprite for it, it seems

2) I've just recently delved into the outdoors farming stuff but from what I can tell, if your livestock eat grass for that day, they won't consume hay

Yes, they can grow all year, and you can plant them regardless of season requirements. That being said, greenhouse is the best for crops that yield multiple harvest, so you don't have to replant them, like ancient fruits, and different kind of berries.

The only thing is that you can fertilize only once, unless you want to replant them every so often, fertilized soil infulence star rating, so you won't have majority of gold stars from such arrangement, but I sell gold stars, and those without or silver, I turn into wine.

If the day wasn't rainy, all your animals will eat grass from the outside. You only really need to feed your animals if you force them inside or they stay inside during a rainy day.

What do you guys do when you've already achieved the most interesting things?
I mean, once you're married, youv'e been through the relevant quests, community center is repaired, etc; and the money is no longer necessary?

First gameplay I went for Leah but changed my mind halfway through to Penny, best girl by far. Unlocked the community center by 2nd year summer and stopped playing because it got boring. I started playing recently again on one of the new farms, the mountain farm. Its more aesthetic but theres barely any room for buildings and crops. I'm currently in summer first year, but I'm not sure who I should marry this time. Any suggestions?

So that's my farm, it's not ideal, but I like how it (will) look like.
Now I'm waiting for batteries to finish my plantation, oak sap for more kegs, and I probably, will extend animal fence somewhere, or put them somewhere entirely different.

But you won't get gold star wine from gold star fruit just like that, as far as I know, wine always go without star, and they you can let it age in cask in your cellar. It is better to sell gold star if you have surplus and use no star to make wine.

Also, does anyone know if I can store casks in a shed?

The wine will have 3 times the value of the base fruit, if the fruit has a gold star it will be 50% worth more than the normal ones. That means the wine will be 4.5 times the value of the normal base fruit, even though the wine doesnt have the gold star.
For example: wine made from crystal fruit is worth 150x3=450 gold
wine made from gold star crystal fruit is worth 225x3=675 gold

Get some more chickens, make mayonnaise, save up for spring to come around and buy a fuck load of seeds. Unless you aren't doing something like watering your plants, its hard to fail.

Any of them will do, look it up on the wiki for the most optimal seed to plant but you will do find as long as you grow anything in a large amount.

Avoid growing plants that allow for extra harvests past the first day, its a waste of money at that point.

When summer rolls around, Corn is pretty good since it will go into both seasons. I grew a little bit of everything at the start to feed the community center and then had one crop I had a lot of for each season.

Keep growing things as well.
